What it measures — Lighthouse is Google's open-source audit, built into Chrome. Its SEO category checks the things a search engine needs before it can rank a page at all: crawlable links, valid title and meta description tags, legible font sizes, tap targets that work on a phone, a canonical URL, and nothing quietly blocking the page from being indexed. It's not our opinion of the work — it's a pass/fail run anyone can repeat in about thirty seconds.

Why it matters — A site nobody can find is a brochure in a drawer. These checks decide whether search engines can read a site or skip past it — and the same structure increasingly decides whether AI assistants can quote you when someone asks them for a salon, an agency, or an artist in Toronto. We build it in from the first line rather than bolting it on after launch.
